Michele Poff PhD

Upon completing her PhD in 2011, Michele took off for the tropics where she has lived ever since. In the warm stillness of the jungle, Michele has been able to discover deep inspiration and follow it. This has led her to writing books, creating courses, and leading tropical retreats. All of her work draws from rich training in how people communicate, relate, and learn most effectively, and all focuses on helping others live richer, healthier, easier lives with stronger skills and healthier outlooks. She herself enjoys a happy and quiet life on a tropical beach.

Michele earned her PhD in Communication from University of Washington, MA in Applied Linguistics (linguistics + teaching), BA in English literature from UC Berkeley. She has lived in 4 foreign countries and while she lived there, spoke each respective language fluently. Michele is a member of Mensa.
