Peter Dinter

I am Peter Dinter, born in 1960 in Detmold, North Rhine-Westphalia. I began my professional career as a retail salesman. I obtained my higher education entrance qualification at the Clemens-Hofbauer College in Bad Driburg. I then studied theology at the universities of Paderborn, Augsburg, Munich and Eichstätt, where I graduated in 1991 and was ordained a deacon in the diocese of Eichstätt.

My involvement in pastoral care has taken me to various dioceses, including St Gallen and Chur. I have continued my training, including in the areas of equal treatment and palliative care.
