Kristine K. McCraw

Kristine K. McCraw is a retired special education teacher of 30 years. Her love of literature eventually grew into a hobby of creative writing, which led to her writing short stories and novels. She self-published The Spirit of Sunflowers in 2021. Inspired by a true friendship, this story shows us how friendship and acceptance can empower us. The Spirit of Sunflowers includes a Reading Group Guide and is a perfect read for book clubs. Kristine entered Indignor House Writing Competition 2023 and won Honorable Mention for her short story, Ticket to Abbeville. Kristine loves to spend her free time with friends and family, reading, creative writing, hiking, and kayaking.
