Portia Collins is a passionate Bible teacher, author, and podcaster dedicated to helping women deepen their faith through a solid understanding of Scripture. With a heart for promoting biblical literacy, Portia’s work is rooted in a deep commitment to sharing the transformative power of the gospel.
Her first solo literary work, Finding Freedom in Christ, a Bible study on Galatians published by Crossway (August 2025), explores themes of gospel freedom, grace, and identity in Christ. In addition to this study, Portia is a contributing author to several impactful books, including Women and Work: Bearing God's Image and Joining in His Mission Through Our Work and His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God. She has also written for organizations such as Revive Our Hearts, The Gospel Coalition, Well-Watered Women, Risen Motherhood, and The Logos Blog.
Portia currently serves as the Partner Development Specialist at Revive Our Hearts, where she works to build meaningful connections with monthly donors who support the ministry's global outreach to women.
As the founder of She Shall Be Called, a nonprofit women’s ministry focused on promoting Bible literacy, Portia provides resources and events to equip women to study God’s Word deeply and live out its truths. She holds a certificate in Christian Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and lives in Greenwood, Mississippi, with her husband, Mikhail, and their daughter. They are active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
