David Solar

This is where you learn a bit about me, David Solar. I graduated from high school in 1969. It was a time of political unrest in our country and like all boys my age we were susceptible to the draft. I ended up in Vietnam in the United States Air Force as a radar technician for F-4D fighter jets. After the war I went to college and graduated with a BS degree in Biology.

For the next twenty years I worked in the music and video industry. The following twenty years were spent in the car industry. It was during that time I decided to try my hand at writing. I had no formal training to help my writing skills so I relied on my love for movies and those wonderful moments lost in movie theaters. I began my first book “Orion’s Shield” while working at my second job on weekends the summer before President Obama was elected. It was released May 8th 2012. I entered it in the Indie Excellence Book Awards in the political thriller category and it was Finalist. In 2013 I entered it in the Beverly Hills Book Awards and again it was a Finalist in the adventure category. I have finished my new two books “The Next Leap” and “Leaped into Evil” science fiction adventures based on current events and UFO folklore. My new book is called “All That Matters”, a mystery suspense thriller that women seem to really like and can’t wait to read more. It was described as “A real page turner.”, and “Wow it is great and made me blush.” It’s a little book with a big message.
