Hi, I’m Chris Hatfield, Founder and Coach of Sales Psyche. I’ve been in several sales, leadership and coaching roles throughout my career and have always had a passion for supporting people in unlocking their potential and creating a healthier mind.

Like so many other salespeople, I was riddled with stress and overwhelmed by anxiety when I began my sales career. I was door-to-door selling and working on 100% commission, but when I got anxious about hitting targets, I became frustrated with myself, which only made things worse.

But that anxiety, the thoughts and feelings that came with it, led me to want to understand more about how to utilise the mind. It can be our greatest strength, but also our biggest threat. I began to learn how it could serve, rather than sabotage me. I started applying the sports coaching methods I had learnt at university to my sales work and saw my performance transformed.

Overcoming these challenges led me to found my own company, Sales Psyche during the pandemic in 2020 to support salespeople and leaders in creating a healthier and high performing mind, by understanding their thoughts, habits, behaviors and attitudes towards their everyday life and career.

Through workshops, 1:1 coaching and talks this has seen me work with some of the most high-performing multinational companies and individuals in the world, from the likes Meta, Google, Experian, Snowflake, Salesforce and many more.

Alongside this, I also share content on TikTok focused on Attachment Theory and am a very active person. Linked to this, I run a free London based run club, Run Your Mind, that is focused on taking care of your mind, not just your mileage.
