Catherine Elizabeth Eby is the author of Georgie’s Balloon, a charming story about a little girl who dreams of exploring the world in a hot air balloon.

Eby always had aspiration of writing a novel and has been dabbling in poetry and song writing since she was a child. It wasn’t until the birth of her daughter that those aspirations shifted to writing for children.

Originally, her debut book, Georgie’s Balloon, started out as a simple rhyme she crafted for her infant daughter. As the story grew, documenting her own adventures, she decided that she wanted to share it with a broader audience to encourage a spirit of adventure and imagination as well as a thirst to learn about the broader world in young children.

Eby has a degree in English and a background in public relations and communications.
