Dan Lynn Watt

Dan Lynn Watt is a political activist who went to Tennessee in the 1960s to participate in the Civil Rights Movement. He is a peace activist and ardent feminist. He enjoyed a long career as an educator and taught all ages in many parts of the world. He and his wife Molly Lynn Watt were pioneers in promoting and teaching educational uses of micro-computers. In 1998 they were cofounders of Cambridge Cohousing, an intentional community, where they still live and play their ukuleles.

George and Ruth, Songs and Letters of the Spanish Civil War, is available as an audio recording performed by Dan as George, Molly as Ruth, with songs performed by Tony Saletan accompanied by Sylvia Miscoe. Originally produced and distributed as a 2-CD set, it is now also available on YouTube. A downloadable PDF for use by educators and community groups is available on the website of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives.

Together Dan and Molly wrote Teaching With Logo (Addison Wesley, 1986) and many education journal articles.
