Welcome to my page!

I write children's books from my home on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC.

I really lucked out with a husband that makes me laugh and is my biggest supporter through all my new plans (like this dream of writing books). We have four boys and enjoy all the fun that that brings. It means a lot of laughter, SO much hockey, a bunch of kids at the house, a lack of sleep, and lots of love.

Between my toddler who is my little adventure buddy each day, the tween and the teenagers who really like to be fed lots and driven places, I can often be found doing these kind of mom jobs. I can also be found at the table sketching out ideas for stories (likely with my youngest on my lap bossing me around on what should happen next).

As a reader of picture books bedtime stories for the last 17 years, I've stowed away a few ideas, and I'm quite excited to dive in and make a whole bunch. Hopefully some of you adults and kids will get a bit of enjoyment out of reading them together.
