Ron Lutka

Ron Lutka, worldwide winner of the 2008 Articles of Merit Award issued by the International Federation of Accountants has delivered presentations based on his book titled Black Holes in Organizations at InterDoc Symposiums in Ottawa and Montreal, Treasury Management Association of Canada’s 25th Anniversary Conference and Trade Show in Vancouver, Fifth Annual International Symposium on Supply Chain Management in Toronto, and an opening keynote address at the fourth annual CMA/CAM-I Summit in Calgary.

Ron’s articles, including feature articles, have been published in professional magazines such as CMA Management, Corporate Governance Quarterly, and Canadian Treasurer.

As an accountant and streamliner looking deep into the belly of organizations, Ron concluded that a vicious intruder—'irrational thought'—was destroying organizations from within then developed a method to help locate then eradicate the intruder.

Ron is also a student of the human condition—and of history and contemporary society and the interaction between the two. Observations in these areas ignited Ron’s fantasies and his creation of the Cedar Sands trilogy.
