Marigold Nicolas

I am a first time novelist. I moved to Hawaii after visiting several times and became enchanted with the culture, people and beauty of the islands. I studied with local indigenous wisdom keepers and was inspired to write The Butterfly Diary. The book is also a celebration of women friendships, overcoming heartbreak and following your north star. I struggled as a child and young adult because I was a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) all my life and felt like an outsider because of my empathic nature. Now I realize it's been a gift.
