Sven A. Wegner

Sven-Ake Wegner received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Paderborn in 2007 and his PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2010. After several postdoctoral positions in Wuppertal, Novosibirsk, Poznań and Astana, he became a Senior Lecturer at Teesside University in 2018. In 2019 Sven was an invited researcher at IHES in Paris and since 2020 he is Research Fellow at the University of Hamburg. Sven's research interests are in functional analysis, homological methods, and foundations of data science.
