I am a physician, molecular biologist, and writer of poetry. As a scientist, I am mostly engaged in trying to understand the development of organisms, evolution, and the basic aspects of cancer formation.
My personal experience with weight management led me to develop The Moderate Diet, a practical and sustainable approach to weight loss. After losing 14% of my body weight and maintaining it effortlessly, I realized how effective and relevant this method is. That is why I decided to share it in writing.
My book, The Moderate Diet: Lifelong Weight Balance, not only provides a structured approach to weight management but also explores the biological processes that shape our relationship with food, offering a deeper understanding of nutrition and metabolism.
Beyond my work in science and health, poetry is one of the most important aspects of my life. Writing a poem is a precious event for me. It happens mostly spontaneously and reflects the deepest parts of my being.
I began writing poetry at the age of 45, and last year I published my first poetry book in English, The Moon, Clearer Than Ever, Told Me.
As poetry works with the pure essence of words, I believe a good poem can have a long-lasting effect.
Poems are rooted in reality, yet turn their buds toward the musical sky common to all.
