Mike Carroll

I am an author, corporate writer, and former award-winning journalist. I have been writing for nearly 30 years, starting my career at various newspapers throughout the western United States. My articles have appeared in The Pioneer, the Contra Costa Times, the Daily Sparks Tribune, the Riverside Press-Enterprise, and more.

I also spent time as a freelance writer, writing for several publications, including the Oakland A's magazine. My writing skills took me to corporate America, where I wrote news articles, website content, blog posts, and more for various tech companies throughout Silicon Valley.

After a corporate layoff and while volunteering at my daughter's school, I started developing the idea for a children's book series, based on his two daughters, Amanda and Sabrina. I self-published my first book, The Search for Sparkles, on Amazon, and have received multiple positive reviews. The next two books are already in the works.
