Andrew Meyer is a movie producer, author, entertainment executive, and educator. He was President of A&M Films with Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss, Robert Redford's Wildwood Productions, and Norman Lear's Act III Productions.

He has produced several notable films, including "Fried Green Tomatoes," which received two Academy Award nominations, and "The Breakfast Club." He produced "Bring on the Night," which won a Grammy Award and starred Sting, and the iconic comedy classic, “Better Off Dead.” His company produced "Birdy," which won the Grand Prix Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

Mr. Meyer is the Artist-in-Residence at the Idyllwild Arts Academy.

He is a Professor Emeritus at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Mr. Meyer and his wife live in Southern California.
