Jonathan’s journey in political science began in 1974 as he pursued his major at the University of Maryland’s Frankfurt campus in Germany. “I've always had a passion for research and development,” he shares, highlighting his lifelong dedication to exploration and innovation.

Jonathan's personal history is deeply intertwined with significant historical events. His great grandfather, Howard Savage, was the barber to Presidents Taft and F.D. Roosevelt. His father, Roy W. Pike, aka Mickey Ryan, was involved in the JFK assassination as Jack Ruby's bookkeeper and payoff man. Throughout his life, Jonathan has felt a profound mission to atone for his father's actions.
