Kate Laxen

Kate Laxen grew up in Yorkshire, but migrated to the South of England when she was eighteen and has lived there ever since. She likes to write about characters who stand out from the crowd, not because they are better than anyone else, but because they have to grapple with unusual problems before they find their happy endings. As well as writing, Kate likes to read, wander down lonely footpaths and gaze at the night sky. She is also a big fan of food, the paranormal, owls, her family and sheep, not necessarily in that order (!)
