Marlene Moyer

Marlene Moyer is a 7th grade English Teacher in northern California. She loves teaching middle school in order to be a positive adult connection during a tumultuous time in adolescents' lives.

Writing this book has been a lifelong dream. If you are reading Tools Not Rules: Developing Self-Regulation for improved Student Behavior in Grades K-8, she hopes you find something that allows you to connect more honestly with your students, while supporting them to make better and lasting behavior choices.

Marlene has taught grades 5-7 for over 20 years in Nevada and California. She was curriculum leader for many years and is a mentor teacher.
