Amy Laessle-Morgan

Amy Laessle-Morgan is a poet/writer based in Southeast Michigan with a BA in Communication from Oakland University. East Coast Heartbreak is her debut poetry collection. Amy sustains her creative expression through the art of words, captured moments in photography, music, art, design, and film. When not writing she enjoys the solace of her garden, reading poetry, collecting records and playing Bass guitar.

Amy’s work has been published in the 2020 — 2024 editions of Sterling Script: A Local Author Collection, Unsent Love Letters: An Anthology, Poetic Reveries Magazine, Poetic Reveries Anthology, Artifex Literary Magazine and Gypsophila Art and Literary Magazine. She has also been a contributor to Squirrel Cane Press and a featured collaborative artist for the 2021 New York City concert series Sounds Rising from Words.
