Being a writer is like being a Wordsmith, a craftsman who shapes blank pages into words, sentences, paragraphs, chapters—and, in time, these come together to form something unique: a beautiful book, filled with illustrations, photos, and dreams, told through words. We not wield steel chisels to carve into raw stone or wood. Instead, in this modern age, we press the soft keys of increasingly advanced keyboards.
Today, we have word processors, spellcheckers, editors, and even Artificial Intelligence tools that make our work easier. They help us create beautiful images, refine our writing, and bring depth to what we imagine, draw, or dream.
This is my first children’s book, a dream that was born recently along with my granddaughter, Alice. As I rocked my dear Alice to sleep, lullabies long forgotten in the depths of my heart resurfaced—or, I might say, were reborn. So did centuries-old fairy tales, passed down through generations, which my Uncle George used to tell me with such enthusiasm. I would listen, be mesmerized, and later transform those stories into dreams. Now, they have returned to me in vivid detail.
I felt a strong desire for Alice to know these wonders, just as I had the privilege of hearing them from my Uncle George for those precious years.
Welcome Alice!!!
