The highest duty in the world is the proper ordering of the world, but in modern science, where «knowledge is power», everything is at the service of quite other priorities. The dialectic of master and slave is also present in the relation between man and Nature, although it would be too much to pretend that our role here is that of a master since we become reactive with respect to what we want to dominate. In its present fashion, mechanics and the instrumentation principle are one single process, but precisely because this is not realized, we have an increasingly servile dull intellect, instead of an intelligence more sensitive to the natural unity of things. Even if all the work remains to be done, here at least we wanted to show other horizon for knowledge and suggest a different path.
