Marius Johan Stokknes

M. J. Stokknes is a Norwegian author and independent publisher based in Andalucía, Spain.

Before writing books, he worked across media production, sales, technical support, banking and freelance creative work. Under the name SoiRaM3, he became known for endurance livestreaming, including broadcasts lasting several days and long-distance journeys through the European gaming scene.

After surviving a random axe attack in Spain and navigating surgery, chronic nerve damage and institutional fallout, Stokknes began developing the body of work that became the Chaos & You series.

His fiction and philosophical nonfiction examine power, perception, technology, identity and systems that continue functioning after they stop serving the people inside them.
