Lisa Commisso

Lisa Commisso is a jewelry maker, avid cook, artist, storyteller, and mother of a feisty five year-old New Yorker in the making. Lisa always wanted to write and illustrate a children's book, so she was constantly on the lookout for inspiration. The idea finally came to her at the park during her daughter's third birthday party when a squirrel stole a slice of pizza and ate it, high up in an oak tree. Lisa resides in a secret oasis in New York City with her husband, daughter, and two cats.
