Writing children’s stories is my passion. I’ve been writing since I first learned how, around age seven. My very first “book” was about Indians and cowboys, of course. That’s what we kids played back in the ’70s.

If my stories make you chuckle occasionally, I’m happy. While each of them may carry a moral, morals are not what my books are about. I want them to be fun and entertaining. Because kids (and parents!) sometimes need a little bit of silly, joyful storytelling.

Growing up, my favorite book was my dad’s 1955 edition of the Brothers Grimm. Those stories were legitimately scary and so fun to read.

I’m a mom to two daughters. They’re grown now, but when they were little, we had a lot of fun – me making up stories for them and them being my most attentive audience.
