Laurie Pluimer

Laurie Pluimer, winner of the Royal Dragonfly Book Award and two-time winner of the Regal Summit Book Award is the author of THE YEAR OF PENNY, PENNY 5th GRADER EXTRAORDINAIRE, and HOW BEAUTIFUL ON THE BEACHES ARE MY FEET. She is the wife of a pastor, mother of homeschoolers, herder of cats, collector of hens and their eggs, lover of a dog, and sunshine enthusiast. She loves to be in the water; unfortunately, she resides in Minnesota where the water is mostly frozen. When she isn’t swimming or paddleboarding, she is crying by the fireplace wishing for summer.
