Marina BASSANO

I'm Marina, an atypical and highly sensitive author, passionate from a young age about creating, drawing, and writing. I have brought to life a unique world filled with tenderness, humor, and diversity, centered around my little Shih Tzu, Ecco, the main character of my children’s illustrated books and comics. Through my stories, I invite young readers to discover adventures full of mischief and emotion.

Diagnosed as gifted (HPI), highly emotionally gifted (HPE), and highly sensitive at the age of 40, I found deep inspiration in this revelation. My latest book, The Extraordinary Children, celebrates atypical children by helping them manage their emotions and embrace their uniqueness.

Through my creations, I aim to share a message of acceptance, kindness, and joy, convinced that every difference is a treasure to be cherished.
