Jane Lind

Hi, I'm Jane Lind, a Scottish author and creator with a lifelong love of storytelling, imagination and all things creative.

My love of animals has inspired many of my projects, from dachshunds and tarantulas to children's stories and colouring books. I've always enjoyed creating things that make people smile, spark their imagination or give them a little escape from everyday life.

More recently, I've ventured into something rather darker with *The Forbidden Lake*, my first real attempt at writing a full-length novel. It's a psychological thriller, and I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring the darker side of storytelling. I've always loved a good scary book, especially the kind that makes you promise yourself you'll read just one more chapter, only to find yourself still wide awake at two in the morning!

Writing *The Forbidden Lake* has given me a real appetite for more, and I'm already looking forward to creating another dark and unsettling story. There's something wonderfully addictive about a book that gets under your skin and stays in your thoughts long after you've turned the final page.

Whether I'm writing something light-hearted and imaginative or exploring the darker corners of the human mind, I hope my books give readers something to enjoy, remember and perhaps lose a little sleep over!
