I have a diverse business background having worked in a number of industries including 11 years as Director of Operations of Excel Builders of NYC, COO of Misty Mate, listed as number 73 on Entrepreneur Magazine’s list of top 100 companies, and COO of top selling comic book publisher Chaos! Comics. My emphasis on operations, marketing, and communication has allowed me to play an instrumental role in developing domestic and international markets, big box retail customers, and expanding product lines to meet ever changing customer taste and demands.
Prior to entering the business world I enjoyed a successful career in the film industry beginning with the film Crocodile Dundee and the CBS television series The Equalizer. My film career has included 18 feature films, 15 feature length television projects and dozens of music videos, commercials, short films and documentaries. Notable clients include Lucasfilm, Ltd., HBO Films, Rysher Entertainment, MTV, CBS Television, NBC Television, PBS, Film Four – London, BBC, Warner Brothers Records, Atlantic Records, Sony/Columbia Records, Paramount Pictures, EUE Screen Gems, Nintendo, Exxon, Estee Lauder and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
My writing career has spanned a wide range of formats from screenplays to technical articles published in tandem with companies such as Apple Computer and Blackmagic Design. As a young writer I won the Columbia Scholastic Press Award for music journalism and was awarded the 2009 New York Enterprise Report Small Business Award for my sales and marketing plan.
I grew up in New Jersey and currently live in Phoenix, AZ with my wife, four children, three dogs, 14 chickens, and three geese. I am a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where I studied film and television production and screenwriting, earning a BFA. I also attended the Rochester Institute of Technology where I studied photography.
