I worked for many years as a teacher of science and mathematics and later as an assistant head specialising in supporting students with SEND. Alongside education, I’ve always painted, written poetry, gardened and explored whatever subjects sparked my curiosity.
Early retirement gave me more time to develop those interests, eventually leading into publishing. My books range from brewing and clouds to wildlife gardening, mathematics, and the changing relationship between humans and machines.
I continue to write, paint, garden, travel and explore new ideas. My aim is to make complex or overlooked subjects approachable, thoughtful and engaging.
