Monica Gonzalez

A strong advocate of the United Nations Global Compact, her mission is to contribute to Global Sustainability, an Imperative of society as a whole, tending to improve the quality of life, well-being and safety of people, rational use of resources, and energy efficiency. Her Legacy is Project Management for Peace.

Mónica González is an Industrial Engineer, holds a Master in Business Administration graduate of Córdoba Catholic University, Argentina, an MPM (ADEN and Stetson University, USA), and PMP® (PMI), and GPM-m® (GPM Global) Certifications.

With more than 25 years of experience in Electric Power Companies, public and private, with a two-year specialization in Houston (Texas, USA), in the Automation of Electric Networks. She was also a member of the Communication Committee and the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee of Electricité de France (EDF) Branch America, along with colleagues from France, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina. In the last 23 years, she has been involved in Integrated Organizational Management Systems according to International Standards.

She has been a Professor of Regenerative Development and Preparation of GPM-b Certification of the Faculty of Economics and Management for the Common Good at the University for International Cooperation –UCI- Costa Rica, the leader in virtual education programs in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Since October 2012, she has been involved with GPM Global as a member of the Executive Team. Main contributor of the PRiSM Methodology, co-author of the book “Sustainable Project Management” and the GPM Global P5 Standard for Sustainability in Project Management.
