Chris Hamstra is an award-winning instructor, speaker, writer, and global educator who serves as an Associate Professor of Communication. A two-time Fulbright Specialist (Greece 2023 and Iceland 2019), he helps global leaders discover, develop, and deliver their expertise in communities and organizations.
Chris began his career in radio and television as a disc jockey and sports reporter. He reported from several high-profile events including the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and the NCAA Men’s Final Four Basketball tournament. He also worked in State Government as a training and development specialist conducting needs assessments for future training opportunities.
