Christa Tarr

Christa picked up a golf club in high school and has loved the game ever since. Her first job was as a golf camp counselor. Since then, she has worked in pro shops, coordinated tournaments for the Northern Texas PGA, and directed marketing in the sports and luxury hospitality industries, representing some of the most esteemed brands in the world.

Today, she considers her most important roles to be wife and mother. In fact, her passion for sport and introducing golf to the next generation was reinforced when she became a mom. She has a deep-seated desire to inspire young people to learn the game and to motivate them to chase their goals in a fun and encouraging way. She writes with a commitment to the values that make golf great, coupled with an excitement for the future of the game as it continues to evolve.

While she is a native of Southern California, Christa considers Texas home and currently resides happily in Dallas with her family. She shares a love for golf, the outdoors and serving their church and local community with her husband and daughter.
