Scott Anthony Stevens

Scott Anthony Stevens is an American author and creator born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. A graduate of Full Sail University with a degree in Creative Writing, he has spent much of his life telling stories in one form or another, whether through books, music, or other creative projects.

Stevens is the author of the Unsolved America series, a nonfiction collection focused on missing persons, cold cases, unsolved homicides, suspicious deaths, unidentified remains, and mysteries that continue to leave families and communities searching for answers. His approach is grounded in public records, law-enforcement information, official databases, court records, archives, and credible reporting. Just as important to him is the way those stories are told. The goal is never to sensationalize tragedy, but to keep the focus on the people at the center of each case and to help preserve stories that might otherwise fade from public attention.

His writing also reaches beyond investigative nonfiction. Stevens is the author of The Leverage Point, a psychological thriller, as well as the children’s book The Sick Man from Bethesda, along with other fiction and nonfiction projects. Faith, perseverance, redemption, loss, and the struggle to keep moving forward are themes that often find their way into his work, regardless of genre.

Outside of writing, Stevens is also the creator behind Alter The Cause, a music project built around many of those same ideas. For him, books and music are simply different ways of telling stories. Some are meant to be read, some are meant to be heard, and some deserve to be remembered long after the moment has passed.

At the heart of all of his work is a simple purpose: to create something honest, meaningful, and human, while giving people and stories the attention they deserve.
