Amanda Hess

Amanda Hess is a writer-at-large at the New York Times and the author of the 2025 memoir Second Life: Having a Child in the Digital Age. Her work has been published in the anthologies Best American Magazine Writing and Best American Sportswriting, and has been awarded a National Magazine Award in Public Interest.
