Dave Martellaro

Dave Martellaro is an experienced IT professional and passionate storyteller from South Bend, Indiana. After spending his childhood and teenage years in his hometown, Dave pursued higher education at Northern Illinois University, setting the foundation for a lifelong IT career.

Outside of his technical expertise, Dave has always harbored a love for storytelling, particularly stories that captivate and inspire children’s imaginations. His writing focuses on “Dasher’s Exploits,” a series crafted to highlight essential life lessons and help children navigate the complexities of everyday life. As a parent who cherishes reading to his children, Dave hopes his stories will encourage parents to share the joys of reading with their kids. When he’s not working or writing, Dave enjoys watching college football, catching up on movies, and relaxing with his loyal dog, Loki—who also inspires the character of Dasher.
