Aaron Vaughn

Aaron Vaughn, a Los Angeles native, grew up in the Compton Unified School District, where he later dedicated 27 years of service as a janitorial and grounds worker. Throughout his career, he inspired countless children to value hard work, perseverance, and self-discipline. As the founder of H.O.P.P (Helping Other People Prosper), Aaron leads a nonprofit devoted to uplifting individuals and communities through empowerment and education.

A published author, Aaron has written two impactful children’s books:

A Kid Called Smart: Teaching children financial literacy through engaging storytelling.

Smart Christmas Morning: A heartwarming holiday tale about generosity, responsibility and financial literacy

Aaron’s passion for financial literacy stems from his own experiences and challenges, which motivated him to educate others about the importance of saving, investing, and planning for the future. His advocacy has made financial education accessible and engaging for families and children.

In addition to his books, Aaron is a playwright, entrepreneur, and storyteller who uses his personal journey of resilience and faith to inspire others. His creative works, including the one-man plays My Testimony and New Life, explore themes of transformation and hope. He is currently working on his memoir, Fighting for My Life, and launching his podcast, N-Hindsight, where he shares insights into personal growth and financial empowerment.

Through his multifaceted career, Aaron remains committed to helping others prosper, leaving a legacy of inspiration, education, and hope.
