I have always been passionate about working with children. After finishing college, I began teaching positive parenting techniques and took on the role of a home educator, which deepened my love for supporting families. My experiences with at-risk families, youth, and individuals facing severe mental health challenges, as well as those involved in the judicial system, have shaped my journey. This path ultimately led me to earn a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, which further motivated me to pursue a doctorate in Developmental Psychology.
Upon completing my doctorate, I realized that the key to helping families thrive is to equip them with valuable resources. I focus on transforming complex concepts into easily understandable ideas. Providing information and support is essential in this process.
As a military spouse and a mother of two young children, I juggle the excitement of travel with the demands of parenting. I believe that my diverse background, personal experiences, and work with various families will offer you a well-rounded perspective and the support you need.
