Meet Brady McCarthy (aka SuperBrady), an author, artist, advocate, and entrepreneur with Down syndrome! Alongside his sister, Alexx, Brady runs SiBS (SuperBrady Studios) from New York, writing books and creating art products and videos that spark children’s imagination. As a creator with Down syndrome, Brady inspires kids to embrace their strengths, unlock their superpowers, and prove that amazing things come from everyone. Most of all, SuperBrady reminds readers to make sure everyone is included in the fun.
Together with his sister, Alexx McCarthy, they have written two SuperBrady Story books to promote their message of the importance of inclusion: “SuperBrady: A Story of Inclusion,” and “In Common.” They have also created "SuperBrady's Under the Coloring Book" based on Brady's own drawings. Brady and Alexx created SuperBradyShop to share Brady's art on fun children's products and room decor.
Brady’s advocacy work has been featured in local magazines and news channels. He has also received numerous awards from the National Down Syndrome Society. Brady and Alexx do author visit assemblies at elementary schools to share their books.
