Philippe Porcel

Philippe Porcel — Humanist and entrepreneur, he lives between Compiègne and Grignan (Drôme Provençale). Former SME manager and commercial court judge, he combines symbolism and strategy, both at work and in life. Owner of the historic Moulin Dumas estate, he draws some of his inspiration from there.

With Moi, Constantin, 181 ans, Les Rêves de mon Moulin and Tenir la Pierre, he has composed a trilogy on Transmission: stories in which “places lend their memory” and “hands invent the rest” to let the light shine through.

Today, with Ce qui reste quand il ne reste plus rien (What Remains When There Is Nothing Left), he explores new territory: dialogue with artificial intelligence. Not to celebrate it, but to ask it questions it does not yet know how to formulate—questions that make us human.
