Stephanie Ebert

Steph Ebert grew up in South Africa writing stories in avocado trees, although secretly longing for a garret like Jo March. After many adventures and travels, she now lives in South Africa with her American husband and two boys. She loves bringing history to life through picture books and middle grade novels. She is the co-author of the picture book "How To Stop A Train: The Story of How Mohandas Gandhi Became the Mahatma", and the editor of an annotated edition of Little Women by Owl's Nest Classics. Her writing for adults can be found in the form of essays and articles at Plough, Mothering Spirit, Literary Mama, and her newsletter on Substack where she's making space for beauty and justice to meet.
