Dani Novarama (Barcelona, 1974) is the pen name of Dani Sánchez-Crespo, a transmedia writer, video game designer, and university professor. With over 20 years of experience, he has worked in more than 15 countries, including the U.S., Japan, the UK, China, and India, developing narrative projects across multiple formats. During his decade at Sony PlayStation, he led the Invizimals saga, a pioneer in augmented reality that expanded into a TV series (Netflix, Al Jazeera), comics, and collectible cards. He has also collaborated with franchises like The Walking Dead and Samurai Jack.
Obsessed with worldbuilding, his work explores the impact of technology on society and the relationship between mythology and progress. His first novel is The Second Coming. He has also published the creative thinking essay Pensar más, pensar mejor. Currently, he is working on his next novel. Passionate about history, science, and exploration, he balances his work with astrophotography, diving, and travel.
