Rory, recently identifying as NeuroCreative: a Pattern-Spotter, a Pro-Lexic with suspected Ancestral Developmental Higher-Level Design (A.D.H.D.) and Awe-Some Author-tism, is a passionate FUN-atic advocate of holistic health and neurodiverse creativity.
At 23, after experiencing significant personal health challenges involving traumatic stress-related psychosis and mental exhaustion, Rory underwent 14 weeks of reflexology therapy with his mother, leading to a rapid recovery without the need for standard medical attention. This whole experience inspired him to embark on his professional journey as a massage therapist, simultaneously further unveiling to him the phenomenal possibilities of the body’s own healing mechanisms.
Rory's deep love and heightened passion for music began at an early age, leading him to find therapeutic value in creating and enjoying musical experiences through listening, playing, recording, and producing sound. Over the years, his understanding of the transformative impacts of music and dance on well-being, grew exponentially and has enriched his holistic life and therapy practice.
In his early 30s, Rory first encountered the concept of NeuroDiversity during his osteopathic studies including a diagnosis of dyslexia. This further revelation helped him understand his past challenges with verbal communication and self-expression, empowering him to embrace his unique perspective and enhancing his ability to thrive in diverse pursuits.
Inspired by his own mind-bending recovery, Rory has dedicated his career to exploring what is often overlooked in conventional healthcare, particularly chronic conditions. His focus on immune and functional lymphatic health led to the establishment of Lymphatic Health Exercise (LHE) in 2017. LHE integrates movement, dance, mindfulness, and breath-work to support physical, mental, emotional, and metabolic health, and productivity. LHE, when incorporated into a regular 'LymphJam' routine, aims to quickly and efficiently refresh the body, brain, and immune system, counteracting the effects of extended static postures, through an understanding of the practical philosophies of yoga, qigong, pilates, fun, and osteopathic physical treatment.
When the pandemic presented new challenges, Rory expanded his practice to include coaching, emphasising hands-free methods to help clients achieve their long-term health goals and business visions. Now a neurodiversity and creative flow coach, he champions mental fitness training and holistic health self-management.
Rory offers a revolutionary and personalised solution for heart-centered and NeuroDiverse creative professionals facing stress-related chronic health conditions and the complexities of neurodiversity.
