Jessica Setbon

I’m Jessica Setbon, an award-winning literary translator. Raised in San Antonio, Texas, I grew up surrounded by stories, music, and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. My passion for language and storytelling has been the driving force behind my career, where I’ve had the privilege of bringing countless narratives to life through translation.

I strive to create stories that resonate across cultures, sparking connections and conversations. My debut children’s book, Mosaic, co-written with Lisa Sanders, is a celebration of friendship, belonging, and the rich tapestry of Israeli life. It’s a story that reflects my own journey of embracing new experiences and finding beauty in diversity.

Today, I live in Israel with my family, where I continue to translate, write, and explore. When I’m not immersed in words, you’ll likely find me playing the flute or sailing across the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean.
