Vivien Smith

Vivien Smith lives on the East Coast of Scotland on the banks of the Silvery Tay. The river was her inspiration for naming her character Taye.

Vivien has enjoyed a successful career in the public sector and has now retired having dedicated 43 years to serving people and communities.

The Stones of Destiny trilogy has been a fun, enjoyable escape from her busy life over many years. She has had a lot of pleasure writing her story and publishing the books has been immensely satisfying too.

Music has been a huge part of Vivien’s life and choosing tracks to complement each chapter has been almost as fulfilling as inventing and telling her story.

Vivien values her family and friends and is immensely happy to see the man her son Liam has become. She loves being his mum most of all.
