Jamie Barker

Jamie Barker is a Christian children’s author and songwriter based in Nottingham, England, and the founder of Gospel Growers, a Christian children’s publishing and music brand.

He creates Bible-based books, songs and resources designed to help children engage with Scripture, understand what it says and remember what they learn. His work is shaped by a desire to keep Scripture at the centre of Christian storytelling and to help young readers distinguish between what the Bible actually says and what may come from tradition or imaginative storytelling.

Jamie’s books include The Journey of Daniel, Women of Faith: Ruth & Esther and Eliab’s Journey: From Egypt to the Promised Land. He also creates Bible-based children’s music through projects including Little Bible Heroes and Kingdom Kids.

Through Gospel Growers, his aim is to create resources that become a doorway into the Bible rather than a replacement for it, helping children grow in their knowledge and love of God’s Word.
