Heidi Klose was born in Germany. At the age of nine she emigrated to the Niagara Region in Canada with her mother, joining her two older brothers who had already settled there. Heidi began writing song lyrics and poems as a teenager and has enjoyed writing ever since. She is a graduate of Brock University with a degree in History and German. She is the mother of three children and grandmother to four. She has written several children’s books and two adventure novels, A French River Adventure and The French River Delta – The Legend of Makadewaa. Her passion for reading murder mysteries and historical novels influenced the creation of Niagara Falls into Darkness, a historical fiction in which three youngsters solve a 200-year-old mystery. It is the prequel to the book Fine Dining in Niagara – To Die For. Confess or Die is her tribute to Agatha Christie, her favorite murder mystery writer. Backroad Blues was inspired by her daughter’s travels through the United States in a Westfalia camper and by two legends of sinister origin. Diary of a Ninja Warrior Woman - Book One - Aging Really Sucks, is her latest book, where she captures the joys and hardships of aging. She is also recording her books and placing them on Amazon as audio books. Heidi lives in St. Catharines, Ontario, with her husband Martin.
