Patters

Patters was born with Spina bifida and perseveres through obstacles encountered living with a disability. She believes that she wouldn’t be alive today if it weren’t for the decisions and unconditional love of one very special person, one who she loved to her very core, her mom and best friend.

Patters’s story intertwines strong women who encompassed love, challenging decisions, sacrifice, selflessness, strength, and courage. Yet they endured many hardships, obstacles, pain, heartache, guilt, and grief. Her journey is one of resilience and determination to carry on while making hard decisions and living through struggles of sorrow.

Widowed at the age of 55, Patters struggled with the emotional turmoil that grief presents.

She believes her artistic passion was “heaven sent” from her angels above. She is a self-taught emerging artist who proudly established ‘Patters Fine Prints and More’ while navigating the clouds of grief.

The nickname “Patters” was given to her by a friend’s 3-year-old son, and the name holds a special place in her heart as he sadly passed away in 2012 in his 25th year.

She hopes that her journey inspires you to continue moving forward regardless of the struggles and sorrows that life presents.

Patters was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, where she resides today, surrounded by the love of her sisters, family, and friends.
