I grew up in Long Island New York and spent sumemrs in the Little Italy section of New York City. I wanted to be a doctor since the age of 8. I enlisted in the United States Navy and became a hospital corpsman and was stationed at Marine Corps Base Quantico Virginia.
Honorably discharged I attended the Physician Assistant program at the George Washington University graduating in1978 and worked in neurosurgery orthopedic shock trauma for 7 years, in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. I graduated from The Des Moines Medical College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989. I completed a surgical residency in San Diego, where I have practiced for thirty-five years. I received my MBA in 2006 from The University of Phoenix.
I am on the medical staff of Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista, CA, and served as Medical Director and Chief of Surgery for the Department of Surgery. I live in the San Diego area with my family, dogs, and cats. I love what I do, I enjoy collecting memorobilia, photography, jazz, baseball, and fitness.
