Mo Guernon

Mo Guernon is a retired educator, journalist, and freelance writer whose work has appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers including America, St. Anthony Messenger, Real Clear Religion (online), the Providence Journal, and Rhode Island Catholic.

His research for Love Is a Journey, his first book, involved extensive excursions to Italy where he traced the arc of John Paul I's life from his birthplace to the Vatican and interviewed the pope's personal secretaries, nieces, acquaintances, and the director/archivist at the pope's museum & library.

Besides being an avid reader, Guernon revels in the company of his family and friends, and enjoys traveling, gardening, and golfing (though he's still striving to break 100!)

The author has three grown children and four young grandchildren.
