Richard E. Evans

Richard is originally from the coal mining valleys of south Wales but he has lived in London for the last 25 years. He has had the good fortune to try his hand at a number of things. He tried to be a professional footballer. He was not good enough. He tried to be a lawyer in the city and was just about good enough. He tried to be a banker and found himself to be pretty good at that, mainly by being good with people (it’s the Welsh way - he says).

Throughout this time, Richard also wrote. Towards the end of 2023, a certain set of circumstances transpired which gave him the time and frankly the courage to actually do something with this writing. To be open, his children also called him out with the pointed question “so when are you going to do something with this writing?”

As is his tendency, once resolved to “do something with this writing” he threw himself at it wholeheartedly and Niki Naki Noo is the product of this endeavour :)
